The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide hauling services utilizing tractor-trailer dump type vehicles of a 22 minimum ton capacity to transport bulk materials to/from various location within VDOT’s Northern Virginia District and from alternate locations to area headquarters within VDOT’s Northern Virginia District on as needed basis. VDOT requires up to 25 tractor trailer dump type trucks of a 22 ton minimum capacity. Bidder shall have a minimum of five (5) trucks to be considered responsive to this solicitation. The initial one (1) year contract beginning date will be determined at the time of award with option for four (4), successive one (1) year renewal. Questions due 5 days prior to bid date. DBE documentation required.
