This is a solicitation for contractors interested in entering into a State Let Maintenance Contract consisting of performing asphalt pavement repairs on BS0006S and various in Grimes County, TX. Unless otherwise authorized by the Engineer, prosecute the work on this project in accordance with the following sequence of work: 1. Set up portable changeable message signs providing advance notice of construction start date 7 days prior beginning work. 2. Set advance signing and barricades in accordance with work zone and barricade standards. 3. Perform milling and inlay operations using traffic control as shown in the TCP standards. 4. Place short term pavement markings as work progresses. 5. Cure pavement for 3 days or as directed by the Engineer prior to final striping. 6. Place permanent pavement markings and markers. 7. Final cleanup. Time for Completion: 23 working days. Pre-bid questions must be submitted prior to 48 hours of the letting date / time; responses to questions presented within 48 hours of letting shall be addressed after the letting. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
