The work necessary for the completion of this contract consists of mobilization and demobilization; best management practices (BMP); traffic control implementation; staking and installation of new survey monument frames and covers to replace the existing; utility company coordination and utility verification; clearing and grubbing, removal of existing roadway improvements, concrete medians, curb and gutter, parking meter posts, top slab of catch basins, street light pull boxes, street light pole foundation and other improvements; constructing new concrete median curbs and gutters, median pavers, asphalt concrete pavement, street light pole foundation, and top slab of catch basins and local depressions; dewatering if necessary; slurry sealing; installing new street light pull boxes, underground conduits, signing and striping; relocating existing street light pole from old foundation to new foundation; adjusting street light pull boxes, manholes, and water meters to grade; installing new irrigation system, landscaping, and trees; landscaping maintenance period; as-built plan preparation; and other incidental items of work. Project duration is 80 consecutive working days.
