The project is an upgrade to an existing wastewater reclamation facility (WRF), generally including the following: Conversion of oxidation ditches 1 to 4 from A-0 process to A-2-0 process to recover alkalinity and for total nitrogen reduction. Equipment modifications and additions to oxidation ditches and nutrient reduction equipment in oxidation ditches 5 and 6. New secondary clarifier no. 8 and RAS pumping. New secondary effluent intermediate pump station. New rapid mix, flocculation and plate settler tertiary clarification system. New membrane filtration system and building. New UV system in new building including utility water pumping. New plant drain pump station no. 2. Site, yard piping and electrical system improvements. Other ancillary system improvements. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier’s check or cash in the amount of five percent of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Post Falls should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders.
