The County of Bedford (Owner) is soliciting written bids from prospective contractors (Bidders) for the project known as “Big Island Retaining Wall” (Project). The Work includes installing an approximately 66-ft long retaining wall with an approximate maximum height of 8-ft. The basis of design is a ReCon block retaining wall, as detailed in Attachment B: Project Drawings. The Owner will accept “or-equal” designs. Work shall be completed within forty-five (45) days of the Notice to Proceed. Questions due by September 30, 2022.
