The bid is for the complete tear down and renovation of six (6) tennis courts, including adjacent landscaping, fencing and quick stat lines on courts 3,4,7,8,11,12. All six (6) tennis courts may be under construction simultaneously. Tennis Court Surface;All six (6) courts shall have a surface of a standard hard court. Tennis court lines (copy existing color) shall be replaced on each court, as well as QS lines (blue) shall be added to the surface. Landscaping;Landscaping shall be returned to its current state/improved during construction. This may include: Creating a landscape and tree plan that meets the City’s approval. Removal/installation of trees. Removal/installation of sod/grass. Removal/installation of flowers/plants. Fencing;All court fencing shall be returned to its current state. Each bid must be accompanied with a BID BOND (bond only: certified checks or other forms are not acceptable) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid, payable to the City of Brookhaven. Said bid bond guarantees the bidder will enter into a contract to construct the project strictly within the terms and conditions stated in this bid and in the bidding and contract documents, should the construction contract be awarded.
