This work shall consist of the removal of the existing structure and construction of a single span precast prestressed concrete deck beam superstructure supported on concrete spill thru pile bent abutments, 74’-0” back to back of abutments, 30’-0” out to out of deck, with a 20 degree skew right ahead. Also included are channel excavation and protection, erosion control measures, seeding, improvement of ~876’ of County Highway 42 with an aggregate surface and aggregate shoulders, placement of a precast concrete box culvert, 8’ x 2’ with precast end sections and traversable pipe grates, and other related work. This project is located in Iroquois County 3½ miles west of Cissna Park, Illinois on County Highway 42 over Tributary to Little Mud Creek in the southeast quarter of Section 28, Township 25 North, Range 14 West of the 2nd PM. Contract Time: 40 working days. DBE goal 5%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
