Normandy Road near the Salt Creek Trail (approximately 2,000 ft west of Berea Road) in the City of Menifee. Meetings start at 9:00 AM and will be by appointment only. Multiple appointments will be scheduled to ensure compliance with COVID-19 distancing mandate. The Work to be constructed includes various maintenance access and pipeline isolation improvements along the existing Brine Discharge Pipeline (16-inch to 30-inch diameters). The improvements start near the intersection of Goetz Road and Railroad Canyon Road. Four (4) pipeline improvements shall be installed along Goetz Road until the pipeline turns east at Normandy Road, including one (1) new isolation valve and vault. Two (2) access improvements are along the pipeline running east through Whispering Circle (formerly Normandy Road) west of Silver Star Park. At the Normandy Road and Salt Creek Channel intersection, approximately 400-ft east of La Ladera Road, the pipeline turns northeast along the channel. Seven (7) pipeline improvements shall be installed along the channel and within the Salt Creek Trail, including two (2) new isolation valves and one (1) valve vault. Two (2) access improvements are located inside the District’s Sun City Regional Water Reclamation Facility property. See attached for details. Questions are due in writing by 5:00 PM on Jan 25th.
