Buckeye Elementary School District #33 is requesting sealed bids for a licensed contractor to provide a turn-key project to include the following: Building #1001 removal and replacement of the existing asphalt roof shingle, including all associated rain gutter systems. Building #1023 repair all tears, punctures and loose seams throughout TPO roof system. Wash entire roof system with membrane manufacturer biodegradable soap prior to rinsing. Prior to washing the TPO membrane, all avian waste shall be removed and remediated by a licensed and insured hazardous abatement professional, remove existing asphalt shingle roof systems down to the wood deck. Removal to include all existing metal accessories. Inspect all exposed wood sheathing and repair or replace where necessary following all local building codes and accepted practices, install all new metal accessories per local building code and accepted practices, to include but not limited to drip edges, primary flashings, and secondary flashings, new 30# underlayment to be compliant with ASTM D226, type II, with a minimum 4” inch head lap; Installation to follow all local building codes and manufacturer installation instructions, install new approved dimensional shingles per the manufacturer recommendations and specifications while compliant with all local building codes, and install approved splash blocks at the base of all down spouts at all roof elevations.
