Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Martinsville for Bulk Chip Seal Contract 2022 / Smith Lake Road to the City Limits, Hanover Street to the City Limits, Reservoir Access Road from Redskin Drive to the Fireman’s Cabin. Work consists of a Chip Seal (tar and gravel) VDOT specification Type B Blotted seal (defined as two applications of liquid asphalt material, one application of cover aggregate, and one application of blot fine aggregate.) or the equivalent. This project will be approximately 20,000 square feet total. All work included under this contract shall be completed by June 25th, 2023. Bonds required.
