The Town of Culpeper is requesting quotes for a supply of bulk rock salt for the 2022-2023 winter season (Fiscal Year 2023). Initial contract period will be for one year (FY23) with the option to renew for three additional one year periods. The salt is to be used for snow and ice control, and our storage capacity is approximately 150 tons. Our total winter requirement ranges from 75 to 225 tons. We require shipments of approximately 25 tons on dump type tractor‐trailers. Shipments will be delivered to the Town’s storage facility at 1835 Industry Drive, Culpeper, VA 22701 on an “as needed” basis.
