The project work site is located along Button Road, Lower Newtown Road, and Hayner Road in the Town of Halfmoon, New York. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including but not necessarily limited to the following: Open-cut installation of approximately 1,200 linear feet and 12,300 linear feet of 12-inch high density polyethylene water main on Button Road and Lower Newtown Road respectively, and 2,500 linear feet of 8-inch high density polyethylene water main on Hayner Road. The work shall include, but not be limited to, the installation of the new water main and associated fittings, hydrant and valve installation, water service installation, connections to the existing water system, and the hydrostatic testing and disinfection of the water main. Furnish and install pre-packaged pressure reducing valve station. Asphalt removal to facilitate installation of the proposed water main and appurtenances. Site restoration including topsoil, seeding, asphalt pavement, and driveway repairs. Work zone traffic control. Bonds required.
