The Project scope includes the following: Install traffic control and construct a temporary detour for trail to Google Greenway trail, including HMA pavement and aggregate base, temporary handrailing, temporary detour signage and striping, temporary railing (type K) or water/sand-filled barrier and water pollution control elements. Remove or remove and salvage 250 feet of chain link fence and one chain link gate. Remove and salvage existing trail sign. Remove approximately 7,400 square feet of existing trail pavement, including HMA and aggregate base, and remove and salvage 4 separate speed control gates. Excavate soil down to existing floodwall footings, place drill and bond dowels and reinforcement for floodwall retrofits, pour and cure concrete, and backfill at footings. Restore trail paving including HMA, aggregate base, pavement striping, and markings. Reinstall chain link fences and gate, trail sign and speed control gates. Remove temporary detour, including temporary railing (type K) or water/sand-filled barrier, temporary handrailing, and signage, and restore slopes. Time limit for the completion of the Work is 126 calendar days. The Bidder must submit all requests for clarification, or interpretation of the Bid Documents in accordance with the requirements stated in Instructions to Bidders, paragraph #7. Questions During Bidding. Written questions must be submitted in PlanetBids no later than nine (9) calendar days before the deadline for receipt of Bids. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
