Cañada College B8-119 located at 4200 Farm Hill Blvd. Redwood City, CA 94061. Attendance at the conference is mandatory for prime bidders. Prospective subcontractors and vendors are encouraged to attend. Interested parties are advised to arrive early in order to park. The conference will include a project overview and site walk.

The San Mateo County Community College District (“District”), acting through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the District, will accept sealed bids for the award of the contract for the Cañada College Building 8 Generator Upgrade Project. The Work generally consists of providing and installing new 80 KW outdoor generator to replaced trailer mounted connection at Building 8. Replace manual transfer switch (MTF) in electrical room with new automatic transfer switch (ATF). Providing an ATF at this location will provide continuous power to the campus Main Point of Entry (MPOE) in order to keep critical IT infrastructure live when the campus experiences a power outage. The existing ATF will be relocated to Building 7, Facilities Maintenance Center to support operations during power outages on campus. Questions deadline is 2/15/22 by 2:00 pm. Project duration 75 days.
