This contract shall provide for the rehabilitation of a 500,000-gallon legged elevated storage tank and a 400,000-gallon spheroid elevated storage tank for the City of Nederland, Texas. The legged tank is approximately 145 feet in overall height. The spheroid tank is approximately 140 feet in overall height. Copies of the pre-bid inspection reports are attached. The tanks are located on Canal Street and Avenue G respectively. This contract shall include all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, painting, disinfection, structural steel repairs, safety measures, environmental protection, shrouding, disposal of surplus items, site restoration, and all other related construction for the proposed tank rehabilitation and repainting. The contractor shall coordinate with City personnel when removing a tank from service and/or restoring a tank to service. Questions are due by 5:00 PM on Nov 3rd. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
