Minor repairs to Cephas House and Calaboose House. : To secure necessary maintenance to be performed on two historic buildings owned by the City of San Marcos. 1. Power wash all surfaces of building to remove loose paint. Followed by scrape, sand, caulk and prime all surfaces. 2. Replace all water damaged siding, to include the four rows of shiplap at the base of the structure to match existing cypress siding. Any other damaged siding on structure shall be addressed at the same time. This will include repairs/replacement around windows and doors. 3. All wood surfaces will be primed and painted with Sherwin Williams Interior/Exterior MultiPurpose Latex Primer and two coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Exterior Paint. 4. Caulk with Sherwin Williams Powerhouse 1100A Siliconized Acrylic Latex Sealant. Caulk all cracks, at window and door casings, all vertical butt joints in siding, corner of trim and in other areas as needed. 5. All masonry will be power washed and scraped, wire brushed and any minor repairs will be made before priming with LOXON Concrete & Masonry Primer from Sherwin Williams. Paint window screen trim. Prevailing wages. Bonds required.
