The Chambers Road over Sand Creek Bridge Rehabilitation project will repair and perform bridge preventative maintenance on the existing structure, including bridge rail replacement, guardrail installation, expansion joint removal, spall and deteriorated concrete repair, joint sealant, and abutment cap repair. The project will also perform other elements required to complete the work such as construction traffic control, stormwater management and erosion control, and identification of existing utilities to prevent utility impacts. All right-of-way required to complete the project has been completed prior to advertisement of the project. Work performed shall include, but is not limited, to: Anticipated Construction Period: September 2022 to January 2023. A warranty period will not be applicable to this project. Any reference to a warranty period throughout this Project Manual or any of its Attachments shall be disregarded. Selected Contractor shall reference the following project numbers on all correspondence to the City of Aurora (COA) or Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT): City of Aurora: 19076 / 5888A CDOT Subaccount: 23050 CDOT SAP: BRO M055-051 Work not specifically called for but that is needed to accomplish a successful project under this contract should be considered as part of the work to be performed, whether specifically detailed or not.
