The work consists of removal of all wooden pilings and other debris which can be removed from the slip by surface operations shall be removed by mechanical extraction or other methods selected by the Contractor. All materials removed shall be placed on barges for removal from the slip area. Contractor will develop temporary barge unloading location at area shown and clear haul route to paved roadway. Debris will be transferred from barge to trucks at unloading location. Trucks will transport debris to off-site disposal area selected by contractor. This shall be a line item contract. The M/WBE combined goal for this project is 30%.
