Remove the existing concrete retaining wall at City Hall and replace with a new precast block retaining wall; install two new stair structures, new guardrail and railing on top of wall; pavement restoration; pavement marking; remove sediment from four window wells on the north side of City Hall, seal the foundation wall and replace with well-draining material; demolition of coal shed and below grade vaults, infill the below grade vaults; remove and dispose existing oil tank and its contents; handling and disposal of lead based paint and asbestos that will be encountered during the demolition work; the maintenance and protection of both vehicular and pedestrian access; and appurtenant work. Contract time for the project shall be 182 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed.
