Venice Police Station located at 1350 Ridgewood Avenue, Venice, Florida 34292
The proposed project is for the renovation and reconfiguring of the old Venice Police Station located at 1350 Ridgewood Avenue, Venice, Florida. The proposed building and site work is to prepare the property to house the City Public Works Department (Administration, Maintenance and Parks Divisions). Internal building work includes selective door and wall demolition, installation of select walls, flooring, ceilings, doors, electrical, plumbing and finishing work. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all building permits and fees. Exterior building work is limited to the rear of the property and includes site demolition work, the installation of stormwater inlets and pipes, a pre-engineered metal building with water and sewer service, site grading and fencing. The building and site will be fully vacated by the Venice Police Department in September 2020. This proposed work will be performed while the building is unoccupied and the Contractor will have full access to the building and site during construction.
