The City’s parks, facilities, rights of way, and open acreage mowing services contract is needed to provide mowing and related services for its operations, facilities, rights of way and open acreage. The mowing areas are mostly located throughout the city limits of Abilene, and within Abilene’s Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ). There are certain Water Utilities sites outside the ETJ. All these mowing areas are outlined in below Table 1 and defined in Exhibits “1A – 1H”. The contract work will be performed year around, primarily during vegetation growing season. City -wide parks, facilities, rights of way, and open acreage mowing covered under this contract totals approximately 4,560 acres.
