James City County is soliciting sealed competitive bids for the Clara Byrd Baker Elementary School Safe Routes to School project. The Work under this Project consists of the construction of a 5’ sidewalk along the North side of John Tyler Memorial Highway, the West side of Ironbound Rd and the South side of Village Park Drive, A 5‘sidewalk is also to be constructed along the South end of the Clara Byrd Baker Elementary School parking lot. The proposed improvements consist of approximately 950 linear feet of sidewalk, along with associated drainage and grading. A total of 0.40 acres will be disturbed during construction. Prequalification required. Questions due by 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 6, 2022. DBE goal 5%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
