Construction Manager / General Contractor Services for The 835 Wood St. CNG Expansion. The City of Fort Collins intends to construct a new expansion to the 835 Wood St Fleet Maintenance facility to allow staff to perform major maintenance on City Fleet CNG vehicles and be in compliance with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (the “CNG Shop Expansion and/or Project”). The Project will also include a renovation of the existing admin, break room, rest rooms, parts storage, and circulation areas. The Project will not be upgrading the HVAC systems in the existing facility. The City has worked with Utilities Energy Services Engineer, Operation Services Energy Manager and the design team at Clark & Enersen to design systems that are efficient and meet the City Climate Action Plan and adopted City codes. The City is not desiring to achieve LEED certification, however, the City does seek to incorporate solar PV on the roof or on the site to help offset the building’s energy use and to add a geothermal borefield to help with energy usage. Questions due 8/23/22. Bonds required.
