The Work is located Clear Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (CCWWTP) located at 2200 Metz Road, Anderson, CA 96007. The City of Redding (City) is soliciting proposals for construction management services including inspection, materials testing, and resident engineering duties for the Clear Creek WWTP Pyrolysis – Phase 1 Project. The included location maps show the general location of the project in the City of Redding. The project is funded with Wastewater Utility funds. The project is being prepared to advertise for construction. The plans, specifications, and estimate for the project are being prepared by Waterworks Engineers. A general project description is as follows: Installation of concrete slabs, installation of biodryers and pyrolysis units, conveyors, transformer, an electrical building, pre-engineered metal canopy and elevated support structure with walkway for access and utility routing. Additionally, site work including yard piping, grading, paving, fencing, and electrical items of work are detailed on the plans and in the specifications. The current construction cost estimate, not including contingencies or construction management is $3,900,000. There will be 180 workings days for construction of the project. The scope of work includes services prior to construction, services during construction, and services after construction. A consultant services agreement will be executed for the combined services. It is the intent of the City to hire a consultant who will provide complete construction management, resident engineering, perform materials testing, and inspect the construction of the project with minimal support from City personnel.Deadline for questions is 5:00 pm May 26, 2022.
