State of Virginia Department of General Services seeks to retain the services of a Construction Manager (“CM”) at Risk for the VMFA New Expansion and Renovation. The proposed facilities include approximately 173,700 gsf of new construction building expansion. The project also includes extensive renovation targeting roughly 45,000 sf of existing building area, along with any associated infrastructure or other modifications required to service or enable those renovations. The project also will include landscape improvements to the area of the campus affected by the expansion. At this time, structured parking has been deferred to a potential separate phase and budget request. The project is scheduled to start in Spring of 2024 with completion in Winter 2026. Questions due by 5pm, May 31, 2022. SBE goal 50%. Bonds required.
