A confidential, mandatory one-on-one meeting with Metro’s staff is required for interested Contractors. This meeting is led by the contractor, is limited to one (1) per Contractor, and a maximum duration of 2.0 hours. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. To request a meeting, please contact Mr. Norford to arrange the date, time, and desired Metro staff. Meetings can be scheduled between October 5 and 11, 2022. Accommodation will depend on staff availability, and no meetings with Metro staff will be scheduled after October 11, 2022.

Metro Water Recovery (Metro) intends to engage a Construction Management At-Risk Contractor (CMAR or Contractor) to provide preconstruction and construction services related to the North Secondary Upgrades and Intensification Project (Project) at the Robert W. Hite Treatment Facility (RWHTF) located at 6450 York St. Denver, CO. Contractor is expected to work collaboratively with Metro, and Metro’s design engineer to optimize and better define schedule, project costs, construction impacts on stakeholders, design details and other advantages that result from use of the CMAR process. The North Secondary Upgrades and Intensification Project (Project) will address fixed asset replacement within the North Secondary Complex (NSEC) aeration system, clarification equipment, pumping and mixing systems, and electrical and support facilities. The Project will also evaluate the facilities that contain these assets and repair, upgrade, repurpose, or replace, as necessary. Electrical, instrumentation, controls, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) improvements are also required to complete the upgrades and process improvements. The Project is implementing densified activated sludge (DAS) to address settleability issues, maintain the rated hydraulic capacity, and increase the rated organic loading capacity of the NSEC under future flow and load conditions and permit requirements Bonds required.
