Highlands County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, is soliciting proposals from experienced and qualified construction management companies to work during the design, bid/award, construction and County occupancy phases with a County selected architectural/engineering firm on construction of fabricated Fire Rescue or similar buildings in Highlands County. With the potential of additional similar facilities. This work will depend on, but not limited to, the success of the initial facility and available funding. The Highlands County Fire Station No. 36 will be located in or around Lake Placid, Florida 33852. Potential additional locations where the design may be used include: Fire Station No. 1 located at 2840 N. Highlands Ave, Avon Park, Florida 33825 or alternate location Avon Park and a potential Spring Lakes location to be determined. Additional similar facilities may be added. Location are subject to change.
