The Scope of Services the Authority requires shall include all construction monitoring services including, but not limited to, manufacturer site visits, inspection of all work and materials to be used on the project to ensure that all work performed and materials used to re-open Franklin Square Station complies with the Contract Plans and Specifications. The work shall also include any other services as may be required to furnish complete construction monitoring services of the highest quality. The scope also includes the review of project schedules, submittals, Requests for Information, payments, document control, staging and recommend alternate solutions whenever conflicts appear. The consulting engineering firm shall work with the Contractor to address and resolve conflicts with minimal impact to the contract and PATCO operations. The firm shall exhibit professional staff knowledgeable in station construction, selective demolition, structure additions, facility repairs, fire/life safety systems, electrical/communication systems, elevator/escalator installation, and transit operations. The consulting engineering firm will be expected to provide fully developed methodologies for accomplishing all the above-mentioned work.
