The County of Calaveras, County Administrative Office Purchasing Division, through its Integrated Waste Management Division, is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide professional services with expertise and experience necessary to assist the County with the Red Hill Slide Repair Project in the provision of construction management oversite, construction sampling and testing, quality assurance and construction reporting to the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board. The construction project involves a repair of a landfill cover slide that mobilized approximately 3,000 cubic yards of earthen material displacing the 2’-4’ thick layer, 0-5 feet horizontally. The underlying impermeable layer and the entombed waste appear intact. This work will involve onsite inspection and quality assurance control of a contractor’s work and certifying that the project being repaired to specifications.
