Estimate: Base bid schedule 1 and base bridge: $23,760,000

This is an Interlocal Public Infrastructure Project administered and sponsored by the Town of Prosper, City of Celina, and Collin County. The Frontier Parkway Paving and Drainage Improvements project includes construction of 4-lanes of a future 6-lane divided roadway from just east of the Dallas North Tollway to Preston Road (State Highway 289) together with an underground storm sewer system, a 555-foot bridge over the Burlington Northern Sante Fe (BNSF) railroad, open channels, culverts and an enlarged detention pond. Other major items of work include construction of embankment and retaining walls for elevated sections of the roadway, unclassified roadway excavation and unclassified channel excavation, reinforced concrete pavement and sidewalks, storm sewers, culverts and headwalls, inlets and manholes, concrete and grouted stone rip-rap channel improvements, signs and pavement markings, metal beam guard fence, conduits and railing and traffic signal improvements at the Dallas North Tollway and at Preston Road. Additional items of work include removal of existing reinforced concrete and asphalt pavement, temporary traffic handling devices and temporary asphalt pavement and other items to provide a complete operable section of roadway. The contract will also include all necessary demolition and roadway work as needed to complete the project. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
