The project work consists of the following major items and approximate quantities: Furnish and Install Cell Liner – 444,500 SF, Remove Existing Polyethylene Liner – 440,185 SF, Remove and Replace Rip Rap – 3,700 CY, Remove and Replace Liner Protection (Earth) – 11,350 CY, Earthwork – 34,080 CY, Liner Subbase – 6’ Depth – 49,400 SY, Aggregate Access Road – 4,200 SY, Effluent Control Structure Upgrade – 1 LS, Remove and Replace Existing Aeration Equipment – 16 EA, Seeding – 2.2 Acre, Mulching – 2.2 Acres. 4” Sanitary Sewer Line – 140 LF, Sanitary Valve Vault – 1 EA, Sanitary Meter Vault – 1 EA; Misc. Site Electrical – 1 LS. A bid bond, cashier’s check, or a certified check made payable to the order of the Chicago Rockford International Airport in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid must be deposited by each bidder with his bid as guarantee that in case the contract is awarded to him, he will within fifteen (15) days thereafter, upon receipt of written notice of award, execute such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond. Upon failure to do so, he shall forfeit the deposit as liquidated damages and acceptance of the bid will be contingent upon the fulfillment of this requirement by the bidder. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
