A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday May 18, 2022, at the GISD Support Services and Transportation Building located at 500 Patriot Way, Georgetown, Texas 78626.

Georgetown ISD (GISD) currently provides custodial services in-house for all campuses and Administration buildings; however, the District seeks a long-term agreement with a Proposer for Custodial Services (i.e., housekeeping and domestic maintenance services) for GISD Elementary Campuses ONLY. Ten (10) campuses total. in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this Request for Proposal (RFP). Georgetown ISD envisions the following regarding equipment, supplies personnel: The Contract will be responsible for providing all the necessary equipment, tools and supplies (chemicals and paper products) to perform the housekeeping and domestic maintenance services. GISD will maintain all current District custodial employees for secondary campuses and other administrative facilities. Contractor agrees to interview all of GISD’s current custodial staff members and hire them, if deemed qualified. GISD desires the current employees to not be paid less than their current salaries for the duration of their employment with Contractor. All matters pertaining to the recruitment, screening, hiring, retaining, terminating, and transferring personnel is the responsibility of the awarded Proposer within the guidelines established in this Solicitation.
