The Thompson School District is requesting proposals for a Landscaping Project at Cottonwood Plain Elementary School to include: all materials, equipment, tools, labor, rentals, lifts, ladders, permits, site protection, job cleanup and trash removal, to complete work as defined. Thompson School District (TSD) plans to upgrade the front turf areas at Cottonwood Plains Elementary School with native, low water landscaping. The design and plant schedule were created by Denver Botanic Gardens (DBG) through a Northern Water grant support program and is provided in the attached documents. 1. CPES Planting Design 2 of 2 – Phase B and C The scope of work will include removal and haul away of existing landscaping materials and irrigation, soil preparation per DBG guidelines, laying of seed mix per design layout, installation of stabilized breeze pathways with concrete curbing, boulder placement, drip irrigation installation, and providing small plant starters. Any plant substitutions must be approved by TSD and Northern Water. The students and staff will help with the actual planting for grant in-kind contributions. The design has three phases. Quoted pricing must include all product, materials, labor, equipment, tools, and rentals to complete as designed per phase. Depending on available funding and project quoted costs, the project will either be completed in the Spring/Summer of 2023 or it will be broken into phases across the necessary amount of time per available funding.
