In general, the work consists of an HVAC equipment and controls upgrade at the Demergasso-Bava Hall (DBH) computer lab, including a new connection to the campus chilled water system within the building. The project area has a single DX air handler in the north mechanical roof well with four zones. One zone serves the main computer lab and has VAV with heating water reheat. The remaining three zones are dual duct mixing boxes serving ancillary spaces. The DX air handler and three dual duct mixing boxes will be removed and replaced with a new chilled water air handler and VAV terminal boxes with hot water reheat. Heating water will be routed from a POC near the existing reheat coil, and the chilled water will be routed from a POC at the nearby interior mechanical room. The new air handler and four total zones will be integrated with the existing DDC building management system. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
