Proposals are invited for Contract No. A100.614, which involves the installation of ground and structure-mounted curve warning signing and associated supports; removal of existing ground and structure-mounted signs; all necessary traffic control; utility coordination, local agency coordination; and all other work required in the successful prosecution of the work along the northern half of the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. The project extends from New Jersey Turnpike Milepost 90.9 to 119.1, including the Newark Bay – Hudson County Extension Milepost N7.7 to N7.9, and the Garden State Parkway Milepost 130.0 to 160.2 in Middlesex, Union, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Bergen Counties, New Jersey. The principal items of work include: Parapet Sign Post Mounting Assembly (Various Types) 170 Each (all Types), Aluminum Posts for Parapet-Mounted Signs 4,250 Pounds, Removal of Existing Ground-Mounted Sign 115 Each, Sign Panels 3,200 Square Foot, Timber Posts 2,715 Linear Foot, and Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Various. Prequalification required. SBE goal is 25% and DVOB goal is 3%. Bonds required.
