The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish a Contract with one qualified contractor for the Demolition and Construction of a New Single-Family Home located at 511 Dice Street, Seagoville, TX 75159, in accordance with the requirements described in the attached. The purpose of Dallas County Planning and Development – Replacement Housing Program is to remove and replace deteriorated homes which are occupied by low/moderate income homeowners, to encourage revitalization, to prevent residential deterioration, to promote decent housing and suitable living environments, and to eliminate slum and blight conditions. The deadline for the submission of questions is 2:00 PM on June 3rd and must be submitted via the online bidding portal used for this project. All bidders must be pre-approved and certified by the Dallas County Planning and Development – Replacement Housing Program staff, as a qualified, contractor, bidder or vendor prior to the closing of the bid process for this Project. Call or email Candice Chretien to obtain the application which needs to be returned no later than 11:00 AM on May 31st. Bonds required.
