Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) is seeking proposals from HVAC contractors that have extensive experience with the design and installation of retrofit HVAC systems in K-12 schools. The project consists of removing or abandoning the existing 2 pipe HVAC units throughout Orange Elementary School (OES) and Gordon-Barbour Elementary School (GBES), replacing them with high efficiency equipment allowing for year-round heating, cooling, and humidity control as needed. Providing sufficient ventilation and/or air quality enhancement to meet all applicable codes and standards will be required. In addition, the system will be designed for reliability and low maintenance costs. Period of Contract: June 6, 2022 – July 31, 2024. Questions due 5 days prior to bid date.
