The City of Citrus Heights is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for the San Juan Avenue Rehabilitation and Complete Streets (Phase 1) Project.The San Juan Avenue Rehabilitation and Complete Streets (Phase 1) Project (Project) is a SACOG State of Good Repair federally funded grant project. This Project is the first phase to rehabilitate and transform San Juan Avenue to a complete street from Madison Avenue to Greenback Lane. The project includes, but is not limited to: Localized pavement repair, Asphalt concrete overlay, Utility relocation, Intersection Upgrades, Remove and replace deteriorated curb, gutter and sidewalk, Infill sidewalk and asphalt pedestrian paths Buffered class II bike lanes, ADA improvements, Transit stop improvements (bus stopping pads and bus stop improvements), Streetlights at side street intersections and other key points,Traffic signal video detection upgrades, Stormdrain infrastructure upgrades and expansion, Conduit for future fiber optics connections, A conceptual plan for the Project is attached hereto as Appendix A and the original grant application as Appendix B.This project (Phase 1) has been broken into two segments: 1. Phase 1A: Design, environmental documentation, right-of-way acquisition and construction for San Juan Avenue from Madison Avenue to Chesline Drive. 2. Phase 1B: Design, environmental documentation and right-of-way acquisition for San Juan Avenue from Chesline Drive to Spicer Drive. Construction of Phase 1B is not funded. DBE/MFBE goals. Prevailing wages. Q&A due by 04/14/21 at 4PM.
