The scope of work for the Queens College Dining Hall Roof Replacement and Asbestos Abatement project include, but is not limited to, removal of existing roofing system, increased roof insulation to conform to NYC Energy Code, replacement of copings and metal railings; replacement of exterior metal roof access doors and resetting of metal existing ladder; exterior vent pipe replacement; cracked masonry repairs at building’s lintel supports; crack repairs, and pointing; new roof hatches; sealant replacement at expansion joints; brick replacement; pointing at isolated areas of masonry; and lifting of various mechanical rooftop equipment; and associated asbestos abatement.
