The second floor breakroom kitchen suffered an under sink water leak due to a water filter failure. The water leak caused damage to the lower portion of the surrounding drywall and leaked downward damaging the garage ceilings. The District hired an emergency flood mitigation contractor to remove the damaged cabinetry, drywall and insulation, then dry the affected areas. This project goal is to restore all to pre-incident condition. Repair water damage to: 1) second floor office drywall, insulation and base molding, 2) second floor break room drywall, base molding, insulation, cabinetry and plumbing, 3) upper garage drywall ceiling, insulation and lighting replacement, 4) lower garage drywall ceiling, insulation and lighting, 5) resurface, install flashing and seal the second and third floor exterior balconies, 6) drywall ceiling in second floor General Manager’s office where damaged, 7) paint all affected areas to match existing, 8) thoroughly clean existing carpet. Questions deadline 9/21/22 Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
