The work under this solicitation will include the installation of an approximate 6 MGD sanitary sewer lift station The project is located in the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone on the North side of San Antonio, south of Evans Road. The construction scope of this project includes: Construction of a 6 MGD sanitary sewer lift station including but not limited to: construction of wet well, submersible pumps, electronic instrumentation, pump controls, SCADA communication equipment, station piping, electrical building, and other associated improvements for a complete in-place facility. Decommissioning three (3) existing SAWS lift stations (LS#235 Fossil Ridge, LS#297 Fischer, and LS#236 Fox Grove). 127 LF of 24-inch, 44 LF of 21-inch, 67 LF of 12-inch, and 136 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer main and associated manholes via open-cut trenching. Pipe installation and lift station wet well excavation in limestone rock. Questions are due by 2:00 PM on Oct 19th. Minimum aspirational SBE/MBE/WBE goals of 20%. SBE Goal: 5% HSP required. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
