The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as .VDOT") is soliciting bids from Virginia Licensed Class A Electrical Contractors, with a minimum of five (5) years' experience, to provide general electrical maintenance, repairs, improvements and renovations for facilities located within the Salem District which is comprised of the counties of Bedford, Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski, Carroll, Floyd, Henry, Patrick, Franklin, Botetourt, Craig, Roanoke and selected areas within the cities of Salem and Roanoke. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to complete the services described herein on an on-call, as needed basis, including 24-hour a day immediate response. The initial term or period of the contract shall be for a one (1) year period with the effective date to be determined at time of award, with four (4) successive one (1) year optional renewals. Provide questions by 5:00pm on March 8, 2023. SBE goal 42%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
