The City of Whittier invites qualified consultants to submit a proposal for engineering design services for the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates and related construction documents for Colima Road Rehabilitation Project from Lambert Road to Mar Vista Street in the City.Colima Road is a major 80’ wide arterial with two lanes for north/south travel. Colima Road has over 36,000 average daily trips and Class II bicycle lanes. The project area PCI is 39. A grade separation of the roadway occurs on Colima Road from Mar Vista Road to Youngwood Drive. Colima Road intersects Whittier Boulevard (SR-72) which is owned and maintained by Caltrans. As previously noted, the project is approximately 1.5 miles in length from Mar Vista Street to Lambert Road and includes twelve intersections. Q&A due by 06/04/20 at 4PM.
