The RFSOQ allows the City to select an engineering inspection firm(s) to provide ongoing engineering inspection services to support for City of Redwood City’s various utility infrastructure and urban facilities projects and issued permits. The scope of services shall include the following construction inspection services: 1.1 The performance of all services by construction inspector shall be to the satisfaction of the City. 1.2 Construction inspector shall coordinate inspection services with the assigned project engineer and/or project manager for capital improvement projects, or the permit engineer for encroachment permits, as necessary. 1.3 Construction inspector shall schedule daily inspections and visit capital improvement project or encroachment permit sites as necessary to complete all services to the satisfaction of the City. 1.4 Construction inspector shall communicate frequently with the City personnel regarding needs to inspection services and capital improvement project or encroachment permit activities. 1.5 Construction inspector shall, daily, write construction inspection reports describing the type of work performed, locations of work, inspection results, number of employees and types of equipment present, and other information as directed by the City, such reports being either in software Traklt or on paper as needed.
