The City of Dade City hereby requests proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide engineering services for a Florida Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) project. The proposed project involves the following activities: Construction of a stormwater retention pond along the west side of 14th Street between Acorn Loop on the north and North Avenue on the south. The retention pond will include a stormwater pumping station and an exercise trail along the perimeter; A drainage ditch will be constructed easterly between the Dade Oaks Retention Pond and Whitehouse Avenue; and At Whitehouse Avenue, a drainage ditch will be converted to drainage piping which will run within the Whitehouse Avenue right-of-way eastward until 10th Street where it will run northward within the 10th Street right-of-way until it intersects with an existing stormwater drainage piping system which will carry the stormwater to the Withlacoochee Stormwater Drainage Basin.
