The Purpose of this document is to solicit quotes from qualified Contractors to provide construction services for the Etowah River Park Bridge. Remove all wooden decking boards and replace with same type of wood decking boards from concrete sidewalk to concrete sidewalk. Remove all wooden decking boards and replace with same type of wood decking boards from beginning to end of bridge only. Remove current wooden boards and replace with Alternate material that would be applicable and weather durable from concrete sidewalk to concrete sidewalk. Remove current wooden boards and replace with alternate decking material that would be applicable and weather durable from beginning of bridge to end of bridge. No structural repairs anticipated with this project. The proposed bid for the project(s) shall be presented in a single, separately sealed and labeled envelope. The proposed bid amount shall be presented in the format provided. The cost proposal shall reflect all necessary construction costs. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond prepared on an accepted form, duly executed by the bidder, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid.
