The Project consists of alterations and improvements to the source capture exhaust systems and related work at Seattle Fire Department (SFD) Fire Facility Apparatus Bays. These systems connect to the exhaust pipes of SFD vehicles and mechanically convey engine exhaust to outside air. The modified and new systems shall be Nederman Systems (sole source). The Owner will secure the mechanical permits for FS 26, FS 28 and FS 30. The Contractor will secure all other required permits. The Owner will occupy the facilities throughout the course of the Project, and the Work shall not interfere with facility operations nor emergency response.
