Notice is Hereby Given N, that the County of Ontario (the “County”), will receive sealed bids for Geneva Server Room Fire Suppression Upgrades (B20054). At the FLCC Geneva Campus Center, located at 63 Pulteney St Geneva NY, there is an existing data server room dedicated to FLCC servers only which does not have a fire suppression system. The server room is being modified to allow Ontario County to move their emergency backup servers in the server room. This bid is for the purchase and installation of a turnkey FM200 fire suppression system in this server room. The awarded contractor shall use the attached specs as a guide and shall verify the installation includes the purchase and installation of all components, including charged FM-200 cylinders to provide a complete and operational FM200 Fire Suppression system in the Data Server room. The turnkey requirement includes a delegated design requiring stamped drawings. The awarded contractor is responsible to connect the power to the system, and to have the controls and fire alarm system connected and commissioned. The Contractor will visit and the site and field verify existing conditions to understand all requirements of the job. Measurements may be made at the prebid meeting. Installation of the fire suppression system will take place after the server room is fit out with the required GC, HVAC and Electrical work as noted in the included drawings. There will be electrical and control work required for the fire suppression system installation, the fire suppression system contractor is required to provide their own subcontractors. Coordination and final interface between the clean agent fire system, HVAC controls, existing fire alarm and shunt trip breakers will be the responsibility of the fire suppression system contractor. The Contractor will follow all required codes concerning the work. Contractor is responsible to obtain and pay for all permitting and testing required. The contractor is responsible for providing a turnkey system including stamped drawings. Bonds required please refer to documents for further details wage rates.
