Scope of work: floor prep after existing VCT has been removed (by another contractor and completed by July 6, 2021) consisting of priming slab, one heavy coat of Ardex underlayment, two skim coats of Ardex Feather Finish, sanding finished surface smooth to receive new VCT. Furnish and install approximately 15,000 square feet of Armstrong Standard Excelon VCT tiles in the two classroom wings and the corridor per the attached drawing. Successful contractor shall install up to three color patterns, to be determined by the Owner. Furnish and install rubber wall base 4 x 1/8 roll length material of Johnsonite, Roppe, or approved equal. Protect finished flooring with ram board or reinforced brown protective flooring paper and remove prior to Owner washing and waxing. This contract shall be effective from the date of the award letter, and work shall commence on July 7, 2021 and shall have a final completion of no later than August 1, 2021.
