General scope of work includes the removal of existing built-up roofing system and installation of new single ply membrane roofing system, including insulation and accessories as described in construction documents by Holst architects/KPFF engineers. Work to include demolition as well as items to be removed and reinstalled around various existing roof equipment locations. Base bid work extends the new roof assembly over existing concrete roof slab of main FAB roof and mechanical penthouse. Area of main roof is approx. 40,000 sf. Alternate work includes extension of roofing system over an additional roof area south of the main roof. There are 10 alternative items.
